It was a cold, blustery day at Tom Bowl XIII. Even having Molly the two-liter bottle retrieving dog in attendance for the halftime show couldn't entice either Miami or Colorado to make the trip to Beal City for the battle to determine the true #1 team in the nation.

You know what's weird, this year, just like last year, the Tom Bowl features teams from the Big East and the Big Twelve. It's cold outside, but not like it was last year. This year it was actually pretty warm. I really wanted to mow my lawn the other day so I could walk around telling people that I mowed my lawn in December. It would have been cool and made me very special. Tennessee really blew it didn't they? Oh, and the Detroit Lions, what's up with that. 0-12 right now. That's hard to believe. I like Vidalia Onions. That's also hard to believe. |
