Advanced scouts reported no team buses in Beal City so fans elected to see watch the lack of action on TV. Non-existent on-site attendance was attributed to a tight schedule, a good dinner, no confirmation from the invited teams and a planned medical procedure. Nothing serious, nothing to worry about here and, once again, no teams to watch. There were two dogs in attendance, one of which was real. Attendance: 0 TV Viewers: People 21 Dogs: 2 (1 real)

I read a bunch of books. Ready Player One was pretty good, I also read Dead Presidents which was about Presidents which are dead (which is most of them).. Episode VII was good but they were dumb. See, there was a significant event in the movie that I did not like at all. In fact, the second time I saw it, I realized that I didn’t know anything that happened for a good 5-10 minutes after that event because I was so unhappy. I’m not going to spoil it for anyone that Han Solo dies. So dumb. Perhaps the best or second best character in Star Wars and you kill him off? Now if they bring him back in Episode VIII… Curious about Rogue One. Young Han Solo movie does not excite me unless it’s full of bounty hunters. (Again, you kill one of the best things about Star Wars and yet realize he’s popular enough to make a stand-alone movie. Go figure). I had a heck of a time finding a good picture of Christian Wilkins. Not sure what he’s doing in that picture. The Tom Bowl President had numerous moments on screen in Batman v. Superman which was exciting. The highlight of the year was that a bunch of co-workers surprised him at the theater when he went to see it. The Lions look like they are going to make the playoffs and may even host a game. Trump wins the presidency; Cubs win the World Series, Lions in the playoffs. There may not be a Tom Bowl XXIX because the world is ending. The pool had a last hurrah. Set it up, it got shot with a BB gun but I patched it up. By the end of the summer it was falling apart. I repaired a leaky showerhead by changing the cartridge. I learned how to do it on YouTube. Very exciting.
